In recent weeks I have introduced ‘meetings on the move’ into my weekly schedule. Instead of meeting exclusively in offices and meeting rooms, many of my meetings have been moved to walks throughout Brisbane.

Physical health is incredibly important for everyone, and studies conducted at Stanford University suggest that walking increases creative thinking.

In an industry that is so focused on communication, it becomes very easy to sit at our desks all day and not move that much. By taking our meetings outside the office not only are we prioritising our physical health, but we are getting things accomplished at an increasing rate. Getting some fresh air and our blood bumping is beneficial for everyone for many reasons. Give it a go! I highly recommend it.
