THE COMPANY
This organisation is an industry leading racing group built on strong ethos for animal welfare, world-class practices and training with offices based in both Melbourne and Pakenham.

THE ROLE

As the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for providing effective administrative management and support to the office. Reporting to the Head Trainer, you will work closely with the CEO, Assistant Trainer and an Admin Assistant. This a 6-month full-time contract position based in Melbourne's inner northwest suburbs with occasional travel to Pakenham.

Your main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Daily operational management of the office i.e. ensuring adequate supplies and resources to staff
  • Preparing documents for correspondence and meetings
  • Providing project support including research, reporting, presentations, compliance, and budget management
  • Creating and implementing office policies and processes
  • Overseeing and delegating tasks to the Admin Assistant

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a senior administrator in a professional services, racing, sporting, or events/hospitality environment
  • Relevant qualifications in business administration will be highly regarded
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to confidentially liaise with key stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and formatting skills
  • Must have own car and be willing to travel on occasion between Melbourne and Pakenham
