Job Description

Our client is a market-leader in the management and integration of data. Servicing the financial services industry for 10+ years, they provide off-the-shelf and quality solutions, in addition to consulting and managed technology services 

The Business Analyst will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
  • Eliciting and managing requirements from internal/external users, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Documenting business process design within specific domains.
  • Identifying risks and issues, conducting risk assessments and supporting risk mitigation activities within specific domains.
  • Preparing and facilitating stakeholder workshops to achieve business analysis outcomes.
  • Analysing and documenting business operations, enabling continuous improvement.
  • Identifying and documenting of impact assessment within specific domains.
  • Contributing to the content of internal and external communications.
  • Performing and documenting gap analysis for specific domains.
  • Designing test cases within specific domain areas.
  • Assist in the development of information design and modelling within specific domain areas;
  • Contributing to the development of change requests, problem and incident management.
  • Supporting Product and Project Management activities, including contributions to scope development, stakeholder management.

Key Skills & Experience Required
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 1 years’ experience in a business environment.
  • Experience in business, functional and non-functional requirement elicitation and management.
  • Sound understanding of BPMN notation and experience with BPMN tooling.
  • Sound understanding of UML notation and experience with UML tooling.
  • Risk and impact assessment skills.
  • Experience in business process modelling.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with both end-users and technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Sound ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and recognition of key constraints.
  • Sound technical specification writing/documentation skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
