A leading and innovative conveyancing practice with multiple offices across Melbourne has a strong reputation in the market for providing a professional and highly efficient service to their clients. As restrictions have eased, the firm is busier than ever and is looking for an enthusiastic conveyancing clerk to join their team in their CBD office.

As a Conveyancing Clerk, you will be integral member of the team and will be responsible for running a high volume of residential conveyancing matters.

Your responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Managing the sales and purchase of residential conveyancing transactional from initial instruction through to settlement
  • Drafting correspondence and preparing contracts and documents
  • Lodging documents and coordinate settlements
  • Conducting online searches
  • Liaising with directly with clients, banks, agents and other stakeholders
  • Billing and invoicing

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in a conveyancing practice or law firm as well as:

  • Solid experience working as a conveyancing clerk or property paralegal
  • Working knowledge of PEXA and Duties Online
  • Excellent communication skills to confidently liaise with clients and stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
