About the Firm

They are renowned as one of the leading practices in their field of finanical services law. They have a dedicated Client relationship manager to not only expands the business but allow lawyers to operate effectively whilst the busines is taken care of.

The Team

They operate in 4 keys areas regulatory, licencing and transactions and contracts within the financial services industry. The firm is led by industry experts offering tier-1 expertise across the full span of major domestic and cross border deals and transactions for a blue-chip client portfolio.

They are regularly engaged in legal advisory including shareholders agreements, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, for large and small financial services and professional services businesses.

They advise and structure succession planning options including employee share schemes, shadow equity arrangements and 'management buy out' transactions.

Your Role

You will work closely with the Directors on a range of high value private transactions, with a focus on financial services.

This role would be ideal for an experienced senior associate looking to take a step up into a genuine pathway to Directorship You will be involved with business development, mentoring of junior lawyers and working towards building up the practice. this is an incorpotaed structure and not partnership.

They are open to this role being based in either Sydney or Brisbane for the right candidate.

More About You

We welcome applications from lawyers who have:

  • Demonstrated experience at senior associate level
  • Strong technical experience in M&A and private equity transactions, gained at a reputable commercial law firm.
  • Experience servicing clients within the financial services sectors would be highly regarded
  • Ability and willingness to mentor and supervise junior lawyers
