The Firm & The Role
My client is an elite law firm and clients are a mix of local and international corporations, high profile and often house-hold name ASX-listed companies. This new opportunity will see you working closely with leading corporate partners on transactions. You will lead deals, have high levels of client responsibilities and you will also have the opportunity to mentor more junior lawyers.
You will work with clients across a variety of industries such as aviation, mining, financial services, construction, FMG, retail, manufacturing, resources, media, technology, superannuation.
This role will see you working on private M&A, ECM, public M&A, joint ventures and private equity. The deals vary in size and you will be also be involved in corporate advisory work.

Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years pae in the area of corporate M&A
- Strong legal technical, drafting and advisory skills
- Ability to provide accurate, timely and commercial advice
- Ability to think outside the box and a curious mind
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a high performing team
- Ability to lead transactions
- Ability to supervise more junior lawyers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
