The Client
Joining the Legal Technology Services team, our client, a Federal Government department, provides legal technology services including legal information management, case support and related consultancy services to all areas of the department.
The Role
As an Assistant Director in the Legal Technology team your role will be varied and include:
- Advising, developing and recommending legal technology solutions
- Managing large scale investigation and eDiscovery projects, document review and document management projects utilising NUIX /NUIX Discover
- Leading timelines, workflow and processes
- Managing, mentoring and training a team of legal technology members including consultants
- Liaising with internal stakeholders
- Continuously looking to improve best practices
- Preparing and delivering presentations when required
You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Top notch technical skills with a particular specialty in eDiscovery, Forensics, AI etc
- Experience in a similar role at a law firm or government department or equivalent
- Strong technical skills within Case Management Software including Ringtail, Relativity, NUIX, Windows
- Excellent understanding of eDiscovery frameworks, protocols and best practices
- Solid project management experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Superior leadership skills and a 'can do' attitude
- Australian citizenship is essential as this is an Australian Federal department
