A role has become available for a family lawyer who is highly motivated and organised with experience in Probate disputes and drafting Wills to join a team of lawyers and grow this area of practice.
This is very much a 'hands on' role and my client is looking for someone who has had experience in a broad range of family law matters such as parenting, property, spousal maintenance and child support applications, property settlements, estates being challenged and drafting wills.
You will be able to hit the ground running, take initial instructions, appear in court on mentions and directions hearing. You will also take part in business development and marketing initiatives as well as supervising more junior members of the team.
Skills & Experience
In order to be suitable for this role you will have:
- at least 5 years post admission experience in the area of family law;
- experience in transactional work and general advisory work;
- the ability to adapt and be flexible;
- the ability to work autonomously;
- the ability and desire to manage clients;
- first class technical skills and commercial nous;
- drive, ambition, energy;
- ability to work in a team environment;
- ability to mentor and supervise junior lawyers
