Legal Secretary - Role with Variety

The Firm

Our client is a long-established, reputable mid-tier Brisbane law firm located in the Brisbane CBD who pride themselves on their friendly and supportive culture.

The Role

The firm currently has a vacancy for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team to assist across all practice areas. Your duties will include:

  • dictaphone typing of legal documents and correspondence
  • diary and email management and organising meetings
  • client liaison
  • online searches
  • end of month billings
  • and general secretarial duties as required.


The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 year's previous Legal Secretarial experience, in addition to strong communication skills, strong time management skills and the ability to managing competing priorities. A minimum of 65 wpm and intermediate Microsoft Word skills are also essential. Proficiency with Open Practice, FileSite and LawDocs is preferred.
