This global heavyweight organisation in an invaluable advisor to clients across audit, tax, and advisory services.
You may choose to be based in their lovely offices in Melbourne's Collins St in the CBD or work remotely from home (whether that be Sydney, BNE or somewhere in Victoria).

The Legal Team, founded in the last few years by an exceptional General Counsel / Head of Legal, is now growing to include an additional Legal Counsel of 5-7 years pqe.


The Opportunity


If you are an experienced commercial and corporate lawyer, who has a track record of delivering commercial and strategic legal advice to clients and /or senior stakeholders in business, you must consider this role as your next move.
You will have the support and leadership or the Head of Legal, while being encouraged to work autonomously and managing your own workload and build your own brand and profile within a global household name client.


No two days will be the same, but your underlying skill set and demonstrated experience should include very strong drafting and advisory skills in regard to commercial and client contracts, and experience in advising on the full gamut of legal, regulatory and compliance matters. You will also have experience dealing with regulators, and to a lesser extent, representing the firm in disputes and instructing external lawyers in litigation matters. You will also be involved in spearheading and supporting internal projects and initiatives by providing legal and strategic advice. Another aspect to your role will be in identifying legal risks to the business and managing these with senior stakeholders.
