This successful National mid-tier firm are expanding the Insurance Litigation Department of their Sydney office. The Role

My client is in need of an experienced Insurance PA (Defendant) for a permanent position. You will primarily be providing support to one partner, as well as a senior associate and one other lawyer within the general insurance team. This is a great role in a supportive team with all team members helping each other out and working collaboratively.

Duties will include:

  • Prepare and edit documents and correspondence
  • Dictaphone typing
  • Diary management
  • Client liaison
  • File management
  • Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements
  • Preparing Briefs and court documents
  • Preparing monthly client reports
  • Time recording and monthly billing

The Right Candidate

To be considered for this role you must have at least 1 year legal secretarial experience in an Insurance Litigation (Defendant) practice. This is a high volume and fast paced role and you will need to hit the ground running. You will be familiar with court documents and procedures and confident in client liaison. You will also have advanced MS skills, have great attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative. You must also be a team-player and have strong communication skills.
