The Team & The Role
The intellectual property team is highly rated in Australia and they have expertise in:
- patent and intellectual property litigation
- copyright claims, trade mark infringements and trade mark enforcements
- breach of confidentiality, misleading & deceptive conduct disputes
- IP commercialisations
- licensing & royalty agreements;
- advising on clinical trials
- data protection, privacy and privacy regulatory compliance;
- advising on brand protection
- advising on advertising campaigns and product labelling
- advising on regulatory issues within the medical and pharmaceutical industries
You will work closely with the partner, be mentored and developed. This team works collaboratively and your intellectual property experience will go from strength to strength within this team.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- at least 2 years pae experience in the area of IP, advantageous would be experience in patent litigation and a science degree
- litigation, advisory, drafting skills
- attention to detail
- commercial nous
- a passion for the area of intellectual property law
- the ability to think outside of the box
- the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- a team focus and enjoy working as part of a high performing team
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- client focus and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently
- energy and ambition
