Our client is a growing boutique commercial law firm. The firm acts for a broad mix of clients eg SMEs, start-ups, creatives, larger corporations, high net worth individuals. This law firm prides itself on the quality of the work, their innovative approach to legal services and their outstanding and collaborative working culture.
Due to a strong pipeline of work, new clients and new instructions our client is looking for an experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer or Trade Mark Attorney with at least 2 years post admission experience.
This role will see you dealing with a portfolio of local and international clients and on a day to day basis, you will be dealing with searches, registrations, prosecutions, oppositions, renewals, infringement actions.
You will also be conducting due diligence searches, conducting trade mark clearance searches, processing correspondence from IP Australia (IPA) and other trade mark offices, including the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) and WIPO, drafting and lodging trade mark examination responses, preparing and filing design applications.
You will work closely with the partner but you will also have your own clients and files to run. Your intellectual property/trade marks experience will go from strength to strength at this law firm.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- at least 2 years pae experience in the area of IP or be a Trade Mark Attorney
- attention to detail
