Our client is a reputable national law firm with offices based in all the major cities in Australia including Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra.

They are looking for a IT Helpdesk Support person to join their team on a short-term contract, with extensions available during a busy period in the firm.

This role requires someone who can be onsite full-time. The working hours are 7am to 7pm, working on a rotating roster.

The Role and Responsibilities

Forming part of the national IT team but working predominately in the Melbourne team, the main responsibilities of the role will include the following:

  • Being the first point of contact for all IT related requests.
  • Logging and tracking all service desk calls and walk up requests and incidents.
  • Maintaining the Service Desk function and meeting the varied demands of work, including technology rollouts, set up and tracking of staff laptops, smartphones etc.
  • Providing advanced technical and operational support and maintenance for equipment.


To be successful, you will have at least 12 months' experience in a similar role, ideally in a professional services background (finance, law, superannuation), have a working knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365 as well as PC hardware and ITIL.
