This well-established boutique commercial law firm have a fantastic reputation with senior lawyers and accredited specialists in their field. With a close-knit team and a cosy office conveniently located in Melbourne's CBD, the firms pride themselves on creating a positive and supportive work environment. The key practice areas include Commercial, Property, Commercial Litigation, Wills and Estate and Mortgage Lending.


As a Legal Assistant/ PA, you will provide admin and secretarial support to an approachable and friendly Partner and ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Your main duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Diary and email management
  • Answering client queries
  • Preparing correspondence, documents, letters and contracts
  • Liaising with clients and external parties
  • Dictaphone typing
  • File management
  • Monthly billing and expense management
  • General admin and secretarial tasks

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous legal administration experience in a law firm in addition to:

  • Proven experience supporting a partner or senior lawyers in a property or commercial practice
  • Strong technical skills including advanced MS Office Suite and legal billing processes
  • Exceptional communication skills to confidently liaise with senior stakeholders
  • High organisational skills to manage competing tasks and deadlines


  • Attractive remuneration package up to $82,000 package
