Our client is a highly successful, leading independent Australian law firm with offices across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. This firm prides themselves on their professional working environment where everyone works to a common goal of providing high levels of customer service for their clients. They have dedicated practice groups providing an end to end service.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal assistant to join this highly recognised premier insurance law and litigation practice. You will providing legal administration and personal assistance support with your day to day duties including:

  • Diary and email management
  • Drafting, preparing and editing various correspondence, memos and letters
  • Preparation of Briefs to Counsel, memos and court books
  • Preparing monthly reports and billing
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • General administrative duties


To be successful in this role, you will have at least 2+ years previous legal secretarial experience within litigation in addition to the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong technical skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proactive attitude
  • A friendly, positive and motivated personality
