THE FIRM

This leading mid-tier commercial law firm has a lovely office based in Melbourne CBD and is highly regarded for delivering outstanding service to their clients while working collaboratively with them to continually exceed expectations.

THE ROLE

As the Legal Assistant, you will be supporting the property team across residential, commercial and rural conveyancing, leasing and business sale transactions.

Your main duties include:

  • Diary and file management
  • Drafting and amending letters and property documents
  • Preparing and collating contracts
  • Liaising with clients and external parties
  • Conducting online searches
  • Billings and reporting

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have secretarial experience working in a law firm as well as:

  • Proven experience supporting a property or conveyancing practice
  • Proficiency with PEXA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high organisational skills
  • Proactive and team-focused attitude
  • Available to commence immediately for up to 3 months
