Legal Secretary - Employment Law

The Firm

Our client is a recognised and well-regarded law firm with offices in all Australian major capital cities. They offer a professional and friendly environment, are innovative and have up to date technology.

The Role

As a Legal Secretary in the Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety team, you will support a Partner and 2 other authors. Your duties in this role will include:

  • client liaison and screening calls
  • preparing court documents and briefs
  • dictaphone typing
  • e-filing of court documents
  • diary and email management
  • billings and timesheet entry
  • organising events and functions, and
  • general legal secretarial tasks as required.

Above market salary + yearly bonus on offer for the right candidate.


The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years previous legal secretarial experience, together with excellent organisation skills, strong client service and communication skills and high attention to detail with the ability to display initiative to manage competing priorities.
