The Firm
Our client is a growing boutique law firm. Acting for lenders, insolvency practitioners and other commercial clients, this very busy firm is in growth mode. Due to new instructions and a strong pipeline of work, our client is looking to appoint a litigation lawyer at the 2 to 6 year pqe level.
The Role
As a lawyer at the 2 to 6 year pqe level, you will work closely with the senior practitioners of the firm. A flavour of the work will involve banking litigation and securities enforcement, voluntary administrations, receiverships and liquidations, creditors' rights and obligations, unsecured recoveries, security enforcement, winding up proceedings, recovery of assets, restructure of companies under stress and developing work-out proposals for companies as well as general commercial litigation matters.
This is very much a 'hands on' role where you will be involved in matter and client management.
This role represents as an outstanding opportunity for the litigation lawyer to gain 'hands on' experience and be trained and mentored by the partners and be taken under their wing. The firm has a supportive, down to earth and friendly environment. Progression at this firm is based on merit.
The Person
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you will be a lawyer of at least 2 years pqe in the area of commercial litigation. Advantageous would be experience in insolvency and banking litigation. You will have solid academics, have commercial nous and a strong attention to detail. Excellent writing skills are also important.
