About the role

The purpose of this role is to ensure end to end customer satisfaction around ordering, and receiving, manufactured and supplied construction items.

The major focus will be an outstanding customer DIFOTIS (Delivered in Full and On Time and In Specification) to internal and external distributors.

You will be supportive of change, accountability and problem solving whilst being both a clear thinker as well as a disciplined implementer.

Safely influencing performance across functions with relentless vigour is the compelling requirement. Profitability needs to inform all decision making and attention to detail in the implementation of operational efficiencies across the region is key.

Duties

Operations (order manufacture and sourcing), and delivery (transport and freight) to ensure an exceptional end customer experience.

Specifically review and develop appropriate ERP systems support. This will involve detailed reviews of current ERP flows to ensure these lines up with the published and agree Service Level Agreements for each B2B customer.

Investigate and optimise third party supplier delivery performance such that staging products and components is assisted by their performance. This will be achieved through close association with S&OP personnel at local and senior levels, (include local supply chain) function

Actively participate in monthly review of results and develop strategies to maximise margin via lowered costs, increased market share and profitability via continuous improvement of the customer value propositions.

Ensure a consistent approach in all areas of performance including open and transparent communication between teams and individuals.

Actively support a culture of teamwork and support of Branch managers

Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasting, internal reporting on operational activity and business

Skills and Experience

Ideally you will have a tertiary (i.e. Bachelor, or Diploma level) qualification in business management (or similar) is highly desirable although appropriate direct experience is equally valued

Highly experienced as an operations professional

Stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing

Team Leader, Coach, Manager of direct and indirect reports
