Our client is a commercial law firm in Western Sydney. Acting for high net worth individuals, SMEs, developers and medium sized corporations the firm is continuously getting new instructions and has a strong pipeline of work. Our client is looking for all-rounder who has experience in property matters as well as family law matters.
This is very much a 'hands on' role and you will be acting dealing with clients and have real responsibility. You will work on family law matters eg parenting, property, de facto and same sex relationships, spouse maintenance and child support applications and work on property matters eg conveyancing, leases, developments and subdivisions as well as general commercial matters from time to time.
You will be able to hit the ground running, take initial instructions, appear in court and deal with matters generally.
You will have autonomy and client responsibility.
Skills & Experience
In order to be suitable for this role you will have:
- at least 2 years post admission experience in the area of property and family law
- drafting & advisory skills;
- the ability to adapt and be flexible;
- the ability to work autonomously;
- the ability and to liaise with clients;
- drive, ambition, energy;
- ability to work in a team environment;
