Job Description
The Role
Work with a well-known Government Department to:
- Deliver events, project plans, budgets and reports
- Plan, design, implement and coordinate events to support the Departments needs
- Provide detailed post event reports and analysis
- Research, negotiate and develop options with external sponsors to encourage financial support and ensure continuous delivery of events
- Enhance event development by researching trends and issues to develop best practice strategies
The Person
The ideal person will have:
- Must have tertiary qualifications in events management/communications and or equivalent knowledge
- Experience in management of complex marketing/communications events
- Must be able to obtain National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check
- Excellent analytical, communication and research skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team focus - enjoy working as part of a committed team
- Ability to work independently
