The Organisation & The Role
Our client is a Federal government agency and they looking to appoint a Senior Lawyer to provide high level advice in the area of technology and digital law and more particularly advice in relation to cyber security, cyber fraud, cyber bullying, on-line content, social media. You will also provide advice in other areas such as privacy, FOI, IP rights.
You will also play a critical role in reviewing legislation and regulations and be involved in compliance projects. From time to time, you will be involved in providing advice in relation to disputes and investigations.
This is an exciting and challenging area of law which is changing on a daily basis.
In order to be suitable for this role, you will have at least 5 years pae in the area of digital law or IP/IT law. You will also have experience in privacy, FOI. Advantageous would be experience in public policy.
