Our client is a global legal consulting company who are leaders in their field. Their recent growth has seen the business grow within Australia, and as a result they are looking for a Talent Acquisition specialist to join their team.

About the role

You will be responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting, from sourcing, screening, and final offer. You will also be involved in planning, developing, and implementing an effective talent acquisition strategy for the Australian team.

This role will include:

  • Proactively sourcing and recruiting of legal professionals at all levels of experience
  • Designing sourcing strategies, including a focus on building a pipeline of diverse talent
  • Managing the LinkedIn recruitment strategy and advertising on jobs board such as SEEK etc
  • Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies
  • Managing recruitment from sourcing, selection, interview, references and onboarding
  • Managing new contracts and offer letters
  • Working with stakeholders on the recruitment process and advising on best practice
  • Management of all recruitment collateral including position descriptions
  • Designing and planning employer branding activities
  • Arranging events, both in-person and online, to engage and attract talent and build brand awareness

What are we looking for?

  • A great personality is key, so a professional, positive, upbeat, warm, welcoming and fun person is what's required!
  • They work in a fast-paced environment, therefore multi-tasking is essential
  • This role requires the ability to juggle and prioritise, even when under time pressure
  • Attention to detail and taking responsibility for key processes around administration
  • Ability to work with people at all levels and to create positive relationships
  • Flexible and eager to learn
  • A minimum of 5+ years in a recruiting or talent management capacity, ideally within and agency or professional services industry
  • Strong knowledge of the legal sourcing industry in Australia is attractive but not essential
  • Demonstrable ability to build your own network of professionals.
