Our client is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to assist on a temporary basis. You will be required to have extensive experience in all areas of law including property, conveyancing (A-Z), will and estates and litigation. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Client liaison
- Conveyancing A-Z
- Dictaphone typing
- Preparing Leases
- Electronic and paper filing
- Creating, amending and formatting correspondence
- Preparing court documents and searches
- Diary management
- Monthly billing, and
- General & personal administrative duties as required.
To be successful in this role you will have 3+ years' previous property secretarial experience. You will have excellent Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook skills as well as a typing speed of no less than 70 wpm.
Law students who have at least 18 months' property/conveyancing law experience will also be considered.
